Is it easy to write humor? How did you get started as a writer? Where do I find material for my story? When do I put in the “back story” on a character?
Author Carl Hiaasen sought to answer these questions at the Teen Writers Workshop on Saturday, February 25th. In a lively three hour workshop, 56 students were treated to a back and forth session which included life lessons illustrated with Hiaasen’s personal stories as well as answers to questions on their minds.
At the end of the workshop, Hiaasen autographed copies of his novels for each student.
