Poetry and BBQ
LRJF’s signature event is the annual Poetry and BBQ in April. World class poets are brought to Vero Beach to present their work and to run workshops. Hundreds of people in the community gather to listen and enjoy one another in a vibrant exchange of expression and ideas. Plus, the food is really good!
30th Anniversary
Thousands came out to support LRJF in 2023 when we hosted Carl Hiaasen in January and Billy Collins in November to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We’re not waiting another 30 years to plan more events like these! Keep an eye out for announcements about more internationally-known writers we plan to bring to town in the years ahead.
