Poetry is a marriage of sound and sense, and reading aloud can be a powerful device for
refining verse and finding one’s voice: one’s style and persona. In this lively, informal
workshop Bradbury will demonstrate ways to polish a poem and bring it alive through
word choice and cadence.
Participants are invited to submit a short poem for review.
The first ten poems that Steve receives in advance will be critiqued during the workshop.
These poems may not be more than one page.
They should be emailed to jbweary@mac.com no later than March 19th
