‘Tying the Knot: When Poets Marry” featured two married couples – Jim May & Chelsea Rathburn and David Kirby & Barbara Hamby. The event was packed with friends and supporters old and new who were treated to readings by 16 poets in our LRJF Writing Groups, an hour of readings and discussion with our featured married poets, BBQ, live music, and raffles and shopping that all supported our mission.
Thank you to all the local individuals and businesses who donated raffle and silent auction items, vendors who sold goods on site that benefitted LRJF, and all our attendees! Stay tuned for an announcement this summer on the date of the 13th Poetry & BBQ to be held Spring 2024!
