With increasing interest for writing groups, a new group started in spring 2025. The group meets at the Writing Center on the second and fourth Thursday of each month (except June). Members of this group write in all categories of prose and poetry.

Meet Your Facilitator
Jacqueline E. Jacobs, PhD (Jacque) has lived and worked on five continents and is a retired professor from Western Carolina University. She has published professional books and articles in her academic life, but now enjoys writing novels. Her first series, “Love is a Cabin” has six books and her current series, “Detective Quinn Isaacs” has five with the newest “The (Implausible) Cohorts in Crime” launched in May, 2025.
