Miami as Muse Travel Opportunity

$150 per person round trip from Vero to Miami on a private chartered bus for current members of FOCA (Friends of Contemporary Art) & PRISM, a literary arts initiative of the Laura Riding Jackson Foundation. This day trip is a special collaboration between the two groups.
Bus departs Vero at the Kmart parking lot at 9am. Returns to Vero at 10pm.
Destinations include the Miami Design District and the Institute of Contemporary Art (I.C.A.), and the Perez Museum/Rubell Collection.
Each participant is responsible for paying for their own lunch, dinner, museum admissions.
Detailed Itinerary:
8:30am – 8:45am
Meet at (former K-Mart Plaza) Tractor Supply Parking Lot 1513 US-1. Roundtrip transportation on a 25-passenger bus provided by BTM Coaches.
12 Noon – 3pm:
Our first stop is the Miami Design District, a high end neighborhood dedicated to art, architecture, luxury shopping & fine dining. The bus will bring us to the Institute of Contemporary Art (The I.C.A.) in the heart of the Design District. The I.C.A. has FREE admission and features 3 stories of cutting-edge art exhibits. icamiami.org
Feel free to stroll the Design District, enjoy many great lunch options within easy walking distance such as Michael’s Genuine or St. Roch Market. You may also want to pop into the Dale Zine independent bookshop around the corner from the ICI.

3pm – 7pm:
The Perez Art Museum (PAMM) Learn more at: pamm.org The Perez features20th and 21st century art with a focus on Latin American, Caribbean and artists of the African diaspora.
Admission: $14 (or if you have a VBMA membership card, it is free/reciprocal admission).

3pm – 7pm:
The Rubell Collection of Contemporary Art: rubellmuseum.org
One of the largest private contemporary art collections in North America with more than 7,700 cutting edge works by more than 1,000 artists.
Admission: $24 (Seniors + Kusama Access)
Dinner: Jon & Vinny’s Italian Restaurant at the Rubell.
Leave Miami 7pm.
Return to Vero ETA 10 pm.
Transportation: $150. Per person.
Full capacity at 25 participants is required. Full refunds will be available should we not meet capacity.
