Decade: Ten Years of Poetry and Barbeque is a celebratory publication of the Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation. For ten years under the guidance of Sean Sexton, Indian River County Poet Laureate, the Foundation has hosted an annual poetry event inviting nationally recognized poets from around the country to read their work and offer workshops, including, Naomi Shihab Nye, Tony Hoagland, Brian Turner, and Sidney Wade, to name a few. Every poet in the last decade to participate in our events and programs has generously contributed to this anthology. Our Foundation, board, volunteers, and supporters are proud to showcase our hard work and commitment to poetry in this beautiful volume.
