Susan Lilley

Susan Lilley reads her poem “Why I Sing in Black and White”.

We are fortunate this week to have Susan Lilley, Orlando’s own poet laureate. Susan has been a great supporter of our work here at the Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation, and she brings her energy and good nature wherever she goes.

Susan appeared at our 2017 Poetry & BBQ “Madam I’m Adam” where she introduced her good friend, poet Brian Turner. Susan is an adjunct professor at Rollins College and a teacher at Trinity Prep. Her students are lucky to have such an engaged and passionate creator to share wisdom with them.
